Avi Weisfogel
CEO & Founder
In 1999, Dr. Avi Weisfogel founded Old Bridge Dental Care in Old Bridge, NJ, a dental office he operated for more than 15 years. While running this practice, he began to learn more about sleep, sleep disorders and how to treat them. Eager to explore how he could make a difference in the world of sleep, Avi spent countless hours trying to implement sleep apnea treatment within his dental practice using traditionally-taught methods. But in using these methods typically taught at sleep courses, he failed to make it a meaningful part of his practice.
Today, Avi Weisfogel is the CEO and founder of International Academy of Sleep (IAOS). As a “recovering dentist,” Avi’s life and career have been transformed through his journey from general dentistry into the mastery of dental sleep medicine. Through his work in IAOS, he and his team help dentists create profitable sleep businesses. From business to clinical to patient communication, IAOS provides the tools and resources dentists need to become the go-to sleep expert in their area.
Dr. Brandon Hedgecock
Dentist Coach, Vendor Relations
Dr. Brandon Hedgecock is the founder of Sleep Better Austin, a multi-location sleep-only practice in Austin, TX. Despite being a Diplomate of multiple organizations, investing thousands of dollars into marketing, and developing relationships with dozens of sleep doctors, Brandon was unable to make sleep a viable part of his practice. Just 2 years after joining IAOS, Brandon crossed the 50 appliances per month threshold and never looked back. Today, Sleep Better Austin has 4 locations and is rapidly growing. As a coach, Brandon helps dentists focus on the methodical growth of their sleep practices.

Sarah Morris
Director of Sales & Customer Relations
Sarah is a Texas Native and has always had a passion for helping people understand sleep apnea. Since she was a little girl, her father suffered from the (Not so) silent disease that attributed to his heart attack at 45. She didn’t understand a healthcare system that wanted to treat the heart attack and not what caused it. Sarah was instrumental in getting her father diagnosed and wearing a CPAP each night. She has since taken that outspoken gift to the masses in a plea to help diagnose more patients with a broken healthcare system. She enjoys out of the box thinking and helping as many people as possible. Also, a good 14 year Glenfidditch scotch she has never turned down.
